Had whispers of the giant Information Theft Project already reached the Courageous Couple as much as eleven years back?  Had Balliram already been promised great things to come when they were first installed next door in what - 1998/1999?  Or at that point were they just fulfilling the vicious brief given him by Koobair?
How long did it take to get my good friend at No. 4 to sell up and head for safety after Balliram's arrival?  How long before a seeming never-ending stream of criminals found their way over Sue the Book's fence and into her home?  How long before we began losing electrical appliances and having uninvited guests?

Part of Balliram's agenda was to keep Barnabas' Mistress, Carol Frankson and her son Baron up to speed along the way.   Nothings changed there..*shrugs...
The unrecovered millions from the SBV Heist that I've always claimed bought Earl Michael Barnabas a foot in the door of the Big Brother Operation included total ownership of the Zone and beyond...
Over the years the Druglord spent busily scrubbing up his image and hiding his filthy lucre, his chosen IT 'Specialist' was kitted out in various official disguises.. I'm guessing irc cop, NIA operative, Secret Service Agent etc.. Once this had been achieved they were all set to kick off this lucrative business of information theft..

Nepotism and direct connections to Barnabas and designated Councillors got the ball rolling did it not?  *looks at Freddie the Accountant... To persuade many others to come on board and install the vital signal enhancing lights required, a local WUG was created and crime was stepped up drastically..  Computer-friendly youngsters throughout the neighbourhood were encouraged to join this free local Network and doubtless nagged their folks repeatedly until the required additional outdoor lighting has been installed.
Well brought up youngsters were taught how to hack into their neighbours systems and I guess at that point our PC became a regular destination for many of these Learners... *waves..

Despite all the back-tracking, denials and smooth talking by the Strategist, I only hope you can begin to grasp the enormity of what signing up for your free local Wireless Network has in fact cost you and your family..*belches...
Yes, I believe there are Good Guys out there, but I have to question your ability to tell good from bad.. Slavishly buying the beautifully crafted crud that Janneman has sold you and supporting the utterly mean-spirited and crimianl Cracker, Balliram as you have, has me understandably doubting your judgement out of hand...

Nayager is on the skids?  Rubbish.  He's merely been moved into a dark corner to continue operating while his role at Dodge has been taken over by the Crooked Captain..   The Crumb has been only too happy to dance the jig for the Druglord and follow his traditional guide-lines for running the area... (If any meaningful inroads were being made against the increasing wave of drugs flooding into the Zone, why would both Good Supers have announced that the situation is worsening?)

Fobbed off with the usual cover stories... *an error occurred while saving.... (the latest being that a task team has been created specifically to deal with drugs) the Community don't bother to hold their collective breath... The Purveyor of this misery is now comfortably ensconsed (sp), hob-nobbing with the likes of our own Head of Intelligence FFS.  Does Mo insist that once the Zone is fully harnessed and owned by the technology, he will dispense with Barnabas and in fact see that he is put away for his remaining years?  Why on earth would I believe the Whisperer?  When he sits atop the biggest pile of steaming lies and corruption ever seen in this country?  *yawns..

There is far more to our Network Admin than a mere powerdrunk goonda, and we are most definitely not his only targets, as much as they would have you believe otherwise...
What huge promises did the Whisperers make to the Muslim Community that had them continuing to support Nayager even after he was exposed as a criminal?  Why do I persist in asking questions when it's unlikely I'll ever get the answers?  Because it's your job to solve these riddles is why... *an error occurred while saving...

About 11.30am yesterday a sound system over on the Playing field was activated and we were treated to a fairly pleasant afternoon of hip-hop.. A soccer tournament for the kids? Plenty of cars and people milling about and yet the Wireless system wasn't turned off at all, and the buzzing in my ears continued unabated...
I've blogged previously of the 2 occasions when it was shut down during festivities held on the field and how disturbed I'd become without the now familiar shriek in my head...*grins..
I recall that on at least one of those two occasions the AirWing chopper had landed on the field, leaving me to suppose that was the reason for the wireless turnoff, for it may have seriously interfered with the flight controls? (You're beginning to see the reasoning behind the move to La Mercy yet?)

Did the Principal ever query my allegations that his own home was being invaded by One-Eyed Jack and his IT 'Specialist'?  Was this vehemently denied?  Why would anyone think Nayager has the skills to activate the audio-monitoring system without the assistance of his Monkey?  Why would anyone think that shifting the crooked ex-cop out of the limelight would end the practise of eavesdropping, even on the Project's Chosen employees?    Because Barnabas said so?  *chortles...

Though *an error occured while saving you've elected to buy the laughable concept that the Druglord has Seen The Light and is a reformed character, I'm here to tell you otherwise.. He lies.
The better you are at the art of prevarication, the more rewards you will reap from the Muni's Wireless/Broadband Network.. A low-life purveyor of drugs now consorting with top Government officials?  A crooked electrical engineer given the title of Superintendent of Electricity for Durban?  A cracker with official access to medical records and bank accounts?  *gags...

You remember my early efforts at poetry? *goes purple... Here Be Spooks?  The Press reports that the real deal are arriving here in numbers for the World Cup.  Will I glance out of the kid's window in time to see MI5 or CIA agents leopard-crawling down Balliram's drive to enjoy the footie with one of their own?

It's now 5.00am and my ears report a sudden change in frequency..*blinks.. We continue to be microwaved on high whether it's denied or not.. The corner of the front garden where I've taken my ease for more years than I care to remember has become a rotisserie that doesn't involve el Sol....*grins..  Why would you bother to pull the plug on his behaviour when we are no more than amusing Test Dummies for the Project?
I'm betting he's been told to carry on doing his worst for as long as he can get away with it..*hawks.. He also employed his trick of blocking my end of the landline yesterday afternoon, leaving me to listen to my kid chatting on, but unable to reply to her..*nauseated...
As the GW has not been treated to this little tweak, its safe to assume there's nothing wrong with the handset..

Though this entire Project has been built from scratch on lies, it would've been nice to have had a Controller that wasn't a blatant criminal... What's done is done and it's pointless playing the What If game... *staggers on..

LATER at 5.35am..

Many of you seem aware of Telkom's fibre network laid across the country.. Did the Strategist openly inform you that the waterlines were being utilised to achieve this miracle...?  The journo/VC asked me a while back for my take on the constant line breaks and water wastage, visible wherever you go.. True to form I couldn't give him a coherent and plausible answer... I still stick to my guns and claim that valuable space inside these lines has been taken up by the fibre cabling and in so many cases, the water has nowhere to go, leading to the ludicrous amount of burst pipes and leaks you now find everywhere....
One solution has been to deliberately uncap hydrants to release the inevitable pressure build up, or to regularly surge a particular point, resulting in spectacular runoffs..

Better that, than an entire street caving in as the excess water undermines the roadworks?  (though this type of disaster has already occured in several areas).
The astonishing rise in the number of 4x4's on the road began years ago, and has me believing those buyers were early converts to the Project and had been warned of the anticipated degradation to road surfaces...

Sure, Eskoms participation in the Project and the necessity of the powercuts vital to install the technology led to some water reticulation plants not functioning as they should, but in many cases the reported toxic spills (Durban Harbour) would have been due to the unskilled labour employed to lay the fibre for the Beast..
Mistakes are often made and sewage lines breeched in error... One of the Crooked Town Clerk's biggest lies was on the Blue Flag initiative, as raw sewage was pumping out of the water lines into the sea off our beaches... That whole saga has gone dead quiet now I come to think of it... Has Sutcliffe finally been forced to enlighten the advocates for the Blue Flag to what's really going on?  Has he persuaded them to STFU for a while longer until the waterlines can be sorted out once and for all?  *fascinated...

LATER at 9.00am..

Kapersky?  The GW replaced Norton with Kapersky the middle of last year.  He installed it on the PC we consider to be our new one.. (In actual fact bought for a song as part of a large company's excess stock once they'd upgraded). So ja, it's all been working as it should for about a year, up to the point where the GW decided he wanted Kapersky to also protect the older PC which sits here on the desk.  He then had to go out and buy the version that can be run on up to three machines, but okay.... He got it going.  Once it was installed it simply refused to do the updates, and it took him a long time before he discovered that the Kapersky had found traces of a Mccaffee (sp)Security System on the PC, and this apparently was the reason for it's refusal to update..  Lord knows how, but he finally managed to isolate and clean it off, and the updates are now working again..

In the meantime, there's this weirdness of it now starting an unasked for scan when I log on in the evenings.. Never at the exact same time, and more often than not it kicks in while I'm browsing in Mybroadband.. The GW has checked and re-checked the settings and it's most definitely set to Manual...  So who or what is it that starts the scan while I'm online?  Any ideas Creep?  *finger...

PS Okay so its 2.38pm and I've been sitting here typing up blogger while being treated to a never ending display of childish behaviour starting with the Errors while saving, all sorts of mail suddenly coming in, including the newsletter from MyBroadband ;} and little window messages from Kapersky..  Clearly our Controller is having a slow day? Now 3.00pm. and the connection was dropped without saving half of the copy.  Hotting up is it Balliram?  Just say the word and I'll keep my thoughts to myself dude...
