I tossed and turned last night, as I struggled to try and make sense of this latest development... How quickly I scream foul, and yet I don't live anywhere near the Kennedy Road Settlement..
If I did, I would doubtless be among the first to beg that the simmering unrest be controlled.. Who would I petition to handle this potential disaster?
Why, the one person that's successfully 'contained' the Squatter Camps for the past four or five years of course..
Why would he lift a finger to aid the very Community that of late have shown him such disrespect? (You keeping up here? *winks..) I guess we all needed a sharp reminder of how useful these Settlements can be in times of crisis, to sway public opinion, and how fortunate we are to have one among us that can control and diffuse the potential disaster...*belches...
The link to the ABM Memorandum that was sent to me last week was the result of a random search AFAIK, and should be added to the list of Ripley's Believe it Or Not moments, in that the violence erupted over in Kennedy Road only days after I'd read it...*sighs...
I must go check the newslinks again but AFAIK people lost their lives yesterday, in order for the Chief to regain respect from the Community, and you couldn't ask for a clearer message than that, now could you?

In the hope that there are Good cops reading this blog, I would ask that you research the last time there was faction fighting/unrest at the Informal Settlements here in the Zone... At either Kennedy Road/Foreman Road or Loon road would be my guess... And then cross-reference it to any personal problems the Abuser may have been experiencing at those times... Charges brought against him etc....
I'm certain you will find a connection there somewhere...*gags.. There is nothing quite like violence and unrest in the heart of suburbia, to get your slacking and ungrateful subjects to toe the line... Too late as usual, do I see the reason for the continued forelock tugging and kow-towing that has baffled me for so long...

Do you have a CLUE how terrifying it must be for those residents living near the Kennedy Road Informal Settlement? When the enraged shack-dwellers are driven to march in their hordes past YOUR home? Was Jackson Gumede well rewarded for the part he played in this particular choreographed violence? *curious...
With what? A neat little RDP home tucked away in a far-flung area so nobody is aware of it? Or is he a cheap round, and content to settle for just ONE of those large buckets of dagga recently recovered from a shebeen at the Quarry road West Informal settlement? You want to know what happened at last night's CPF Motherbody Meeting up at Dodge City?
It pulled a really good little crowd, who turned out to be a captive audience to a self-promotion exercise second to none... *pukes gently...
There was just no stopping His interjections made at every opportunity, and I do believe he even referred to himself as the Lone Ranger at one point! *roffels... When he remarked on the lack of respect shown him, I simply got up and left the room, for fear I would ruin the carpet...*snorts..
At the end of the Meeting, the real reason for our presence became apparent, when Captain Lazarus aka Salacious Crumb mentioned the daily papers were carrying articles on the complicity to the attacks in Kennedy Road by SAPS Sydenham. Salacious Crumb announced that while SAPS Sydenham weren't allowed to defend themselves in print against these claims, our CPF Motherbody was, and would we all like to sign here? (metaphorically speaking) *falls over laughing...
At which point our staunch Communications Officer interrupted and suggested we first contact some of the Academics who endorsed the ABM's claims in the Press, in an effort to find the truth of the matter... As a result, a few of us are tasked to visit some of these Intellectuals for their opinions... *winks...
Did I forget to tell you that his cellphone has begun to play up? That the night before last, as he was dialling my number, it switched itself off, to his astonishment? *grins at Bali.... I beg o Master that you continue in this vein, for it will take very little to convince the man of my claims... Having discovered the damage caused to his fuse box by a massive surge, he's now on the lookout for any other electrical devices receiving your unwanted attentions... So go ahead you IDIOT and make my day! (It's a given the Comms. Officer will encounter some really strange 'occurrences' fairly soon...)
It appears that Commissioner Hamilton N'gidi has taken a mortal blow, but no details were given last night except to let me know obliquely (sp) that he couldn't help me any time soon...
Our 'restored' landline was once again removed, directly after a heavy breather called me yesterday mid-morning...*yawns....

I followed Director Mbhele's representative out of the Meeting Room when she left last night, and asked that she inform Holson that the nonsense had resumed... You and I know that isn't going to get my Telkom line restored, but by golly it was fun filling her in...*beams..
A fresh-faced youngster from Metro cops, in full uniform, joined the Meeting at some point. One who apparently knew of the Sexual Offender's connections to the highest in the land, and one who was almost embarrassingly obsequious as a result. I cornered him as he was leaving and found proof of his nervousness and have to wonder....
The talking that went on and on last night, (without ONE rep from the Kennedy Road Settlement) was pretty indicative of the total lack of genuine concern for those unfortunate shack dweller's living conditions...
Only one person stood up and said that the Crooked Sutcliffe should be asked to a future Meeting to answer why the people over the hill continue to live in such appalling conditions, despite all the promises he made to them, before the topic was swiftly turned back to how the Station's grubbied name could be white-washed...*gags..
Did you manage to find the names of the two Settlement residents who were murdered? Were they in any way involved with the ABM? Killed deliberately under cover of the attacks, to shut them up, and send a message to dissenters? *curious...
We drove over to Kennedy Road after the Meeting, and I had a brief chat to a couple of cops doing guard duty on the perimeter... Good men, doing dangerous work...*sighs.. Men who are so often at the mercy of their corrupt Senior Officers in their continued scramble for personal self-gratification...
BTW, it turns out the Good Super Mngomezulu is still stuck over at Greenwood Park despite the conflicting Press reports... *coughs... Barnabas doesn't want the guy rocking the boat where his Empire is concerned, and the ShaikBoyz have for the moment, allowed this injustice to continue...
While Schabir and Mo are steering our President with some genius on many issues, this is one mess that still might bubble over and bite them before long.. There is such filth lying just below the surface at Dodge City, it will take a lot more than the ludicrous efforts made last night, to keep it from erupting and revealing the truth...
The Michaelmas Holidays have begun and it will be that much harder to pin down the Academics we need to speak to.. How in touch are they really?
