CUTBACKS........
(begun Wednesday 18th March at 10.20am.....)
I nipped out earlier to find the give-away sinkholes outside No.s 16 and 18 in the Crescent have been patched.... *applauds.... Now - about the rapidly sinking manhole cover in the road directly outside the Home for the Blind?
I do believe Ms. Kazee's daily/nightly runoff reaches all the way down there and has caused the degrading of the road surface..... Check it out...*shrugs..
In the same vein, WTF is to be done with Owen Johnson's streetlight pole outside No. 64? As his wekker obligingly runs off thousands of litres of water daily, the pole is now sagging alarmingly out into the street....*sighs...
In fact, there are several of these streetlights that look ready to drop due only to the persistent and deliberate water runoffs being too near the base of the poles...
The PTB continue to insist that the shocking state of the roads is due to the lack of maintenance... Of course in many cases, we know different don't we....? *winks...
Redirected waterpipes and poorly done connections lose so much water that roads are collapsing everywhere you look and all in the name of the Muni Networking system....
THURSDAY 19TH MARCH AT 4.15AM...
I was up at Hofmyer Heights after 8.00am yesterday and I looked over towards the reservoir at some point to see an SE still activated on a block of offices (?) that must be in the same road as the Waterworks. Do you really expect me to believe the cost of running a thing of that intensity 24/7 is negligible? *gags....
I suggested you check out Eastbourne Road for the 'control' streetlight, but on second thoughts it would pay you to cruise right around King's House and check out Sir Arthur Road and McCullum Roads as well.... *grins... Who knows, the clever dicks may have set up a monitoring point in three different positions.....
Was there an especially loud roar of laughter at my suggestion that the Shaikboyz will be monitoring the President's home here in Durban? Was voda3g's laughter the loudest of all? *curious....
A Bit Later.... My master is cutting back, and judiciously kept even the bedroom cricket silent this morning... Instead, at 4.30ish, the good old canary awoke near his deck... Whatever rocks his boat say I....*shrugs...
So what do we have? Bali has certainly not left the building in his glitter cape and tights, but is being a deal more careful at the moment....*grins...
My little deepfreeze has begun to protest again, which would be feasible were the weather in the mid-thirties but ooops! not in the cool early hours of the morning...*winks at the Massa....
I speak to it softly and it STFU....
Your average home-owner would be totally unaware of his/her Controllers uninvited presence, but hey, whose average....*cackles...
At 4.55am he cautiously cranked up the system, squeezing my ears... cute....
Lo and behold, after sniping at the Forum posters yesterday, I went in last night and thoroughly enjoyed my visit. Remind me who it was I said had Bipolar syndrome? *coughing....
It appears my irc access hasn't been shut down on a mere whim from my bullying Master... Firefox still closes the minute I click on a channel...*frowns... It's not an error I could ever fix, and were I by some unlikely miracle able to find a tech brave enough to check, the Master would merely find another means of keeping me out...*shrugs..
I smell real fear surrounding this lockout...*grins... Having had to resort to remarking out loud in trivia on the Good Superintendent's plight, certainly had Tweedledumb and Tweedledee break out in a sweat...
Unverified comes the news that this excellent officer's transfer has gone through despite all the concerned residents signatures and letters requesting that he remain at SAPS Sydenham...(did I ever think we could prevent it?)
Twas a victory of a kind to hear that Mayville Station just down the road has been the lucky recipient of his services, when the original transfer insisted he be sent way out to Marianhill...
Our loss and Mayville's gain...
The canary has fallen silent as the pressure in my ears increases.... A new and brilliant SE has been activated in what looks to be the dining room beneath the toddlers dormitories...
The inclination to beg to be allowed to play trivia is there and I must remind myself constantly that my grovelling days are over...*cackles... Tis BS if my Master attempts to claim I am now some sort of Security risk.... I've made it clear often enough that I would be content to sit alone with a bot and to mind my own business...*falls over shrieking.... My irc blocking has nothing to do with security leaks and EVERYTHING to do with Lord Foul's spite and insecurity.....
I continue to believe that a really dodgy compromise has been reached for the moment.. A compromise that could change at any point in time according to the Poison Prince's whim of the day....*cackles..
Do the PTB understand why I tend to harangue voda3g? Their skills at basic psychology have been dismal to say the least, but in voda3g I see the power behind the throne, and will continue to address him as such despite his amused protestations... (my dear Master needs a pat and has just set our lights to dipping furiously.....*laughing)
He most certainly does have the ears of the Authors of this Project, though fingers crossed he does NOT deal with the likes of the Whisperer....*frowns...
LATER
Is there any point in mentioning the shattered glass bottle strewn on our driveway that the GW had to clear away yesterday morning? That when Granny Courageous did her duty visiting No. 6 on Tuesday afternoon she somehow managed to leave Nobby the Large shut out on the road when she left? He is too big to miss so WTF?
I found him there not long after she had left and had to go down, where I easily pushed the gates apart and he willingly went back onto the property.... *baffled..
I like Granny Courageous, though I understand she has said I make her uncomfortable? *lawls... I should think I do! Tis a vast improvement on merely causing her private mirth, after all....*winks..
LATER
I go back to the sheer lies put about by Eskom and the Munis about the power supplies... It's gone 6.30am and is broad daylight out and yet the Howard College MTB continues to blaze out in all directions... The SE in the Convent diningroom, Freddies beauty above his garage and my Master's own invasive SE lights are all still active...*gags... I'm betting No. 32 Michan Road has forgotten to switch off their contribution to the Muni Network as well....
I read of the request for everyone to switch off their power for an hour to 'make a difference' and realise that here in Durban we ARE already changing things... One hours switchoff is laughable next to the enormous increase in power consumption necessary to run the Muni Network smoothly... Energy savers my arse!
The streetlights running the length of Francois Road up the the base station at Howard College glow orange in the daylight FFS... and were I to hop in my car later on and drive along Sydney Road to Dunlops I would find an entire circuit active on both sides of the road!
I've lost count of my repeated calls to wake you to the dangers of this Muni Network invasion....The abilities it has to isolate each home or business from it's neighbour and attack you. Be it to switch off your water supply (or add a little something extra to it), or your power supply. Or to activate the startling audio-monitoring abilities now available...*shrugs...
You choose to buy the lie that I'm a wholly deserving and individual example of what happens when you dare to take a stand against corruption?
Wake up FFS! There will soon be a Colin Balliram in YOUR neighbourhood if their isn't already... Answerable only to the sick amusements of the Rotten Apples at your nearest Station....*waves to Delon...
Clueless old fart that I am, I will trudge on regardless in the vain hopes that just ONE of the sheep sees the wolf before it's too late...*grins...
Peace...
