DISCRETION IS THE BETTER PART OF VALOUR......
(begun Saturday 12th July at 3.05am.....)
Remarkable! Another day without silliness on the TV or PC.....*rolls it's eyes.... Already I can feel my guard beginning to drop, knowing full well that it would be foolish to relax for even one second....*cackles..
El Maestro merely draws breath before the next onslaught...*shrugs.... The feigned air of innocence emanating from the Courageous Couple, evokes no more than slight nausea....*grins...
This morning I see the light is back on inside his garage.... There is a definite reason for this, though I never figured it out....*curious.... Does this give smoother running to his control of our electrical system? He is certainly still very much in evidence, though he is now taking great pains to be quiet....*laughing...
The noises that give him away on the PC are clearly unavoidable, but his arrival in the TV jackpoint, while still audible, has improved amazingly....*applauds...
It certainly proves that it can be done, with more than a little self-control...
Would he have you believe he has withdrawn altogether? *cackles.... There is not a snowball's chance in hell of that happening..! *roffels... As I sit writing, my hand dies and then revives, announcing the Dark Avenger's presence... his animals are up and about as well....*shrugs..
His odd behaviour ties in nicely with the sudden spate of (so far) petty crime we've had in the area.... As if, by his improved behaviour, no links can be made to himself...*gags..
It is possible had he not changed his modis operandi so dramatically, I would have been oblivious to the Plan changes.... As it is, I wait for the inevitable coup de grace, whatever form it may take....
Although it has comforted me in the past to imagine at times, there is a Good Force finally paying attention to this wickedness, I am aware that is all it is - imagination...*falls over....
That there is no official warrant and never was, allowing the Chicken King and the Rotten Apples to infest our privacy to such a degree...
That my many flaws and self-loathing were fed to a slavering pack of Internet lusers, oops, users, in the form of the Toady Show, for their continued delight...*beams..
When I finally ceased my snivelling and whinging, and took up my tatty armour to stand my ground, the refusal by his peers to accept that my Tormentor was anything less than Perfect was overwhelming....*cackles...
The hordes were offended and outraged, that I could suggest that the Courageous Couple were not as they had purported to be for all these years....*laughing...
Even now, there are those witless enough to hint at some sort of bizarre crush I have for the Lord of my Life....*rolls about shrieking...
In as much as they cannot fathom how my head works, am I puzzled by my own ambivalence towards these two creatures.... Total bovine acceptance of ownership is the nearest I can come to describing it...*shrugs...
There simply is no point in feeling hatred or anger in a situation I can't control....*beams..
These days, I am much more aware of an increase in moments of happiness, fleeting as they may be.... Moments I've learned to appreciate, before the next crack of the whip descends to remind me of Bali's outrageous behaviour...*cackles...
Later:
The clouds are in again this morning, lighting the valley magically.....
Sitting out in the not-so-dark listening to the Wireless Song sounding quietly up by the Playing field, it crossed my mind, that the Rotten Apples have chosen Discretion as their buzzword for July....*chortles...
Unfamiliar as he is with this word, the Master tries mightily to be discreet for once....*laughing...
Even the Wireless song, clearly heard this morning, was not the in-your-face full-on orchestral version as in the past. By the time I'd finished 'walking', the quiet song had ceased altogether...*odd....
Spotty and Pepsi were at my gates at 5.00pm yesterday.... Despite his mangled and torn ear, the little Jack Russell is looking remarkably well...
More credit to old Gladys' return to the fold at No. 2? He has filled out a bit, and even his coat has improved....*beams...
Matters that few, if any of you, care less about, but that remind me there are still plenty of good people about....*grins...
I can hear the egyptian goose honking loudly from his perch on top of the Mothership (Freeway Overhead). I wonder briefly what it is that startled him on this still dark morning....
The dogs next door have long since given up trying to impress the Controller, and are for the moment, silent....
Later:
For some reason I happened to glance up at our streetlight at 6.50am... It was on, but Bali's wasn't!! Hau!!! I took a swift picture of both the quick and the dead, and headed up for a better view.... Too late as they were all swiftly shut down....*cackles..
As they are all supposed to be on the same circuit, I always find it interesting to see ours isolated from the herd....
I took some great pictures of the MTB on Thursday... the parking lot at Entabeni is an ideal viewing point..... would you look at this enormous activated signal enhancer/transmitter tucked in at the side of the tower block facing Northwest? *laughing...
The wekkers up on the Councillor's roof were on the defensive when I snapped away merrily at their endeavours on Thursday. It must be something fairly important that they do, that requires such a large team with this guy in charge..?
When I saw the old Mr. P up next to The Gatehouse had the roofers in weeks ago, he said HE had chosen the company... I was relieved until I saw the very same company working on the roof at No. 64 down Harris Crescent this morning...No. 64 is one of the Blessed invitees to the Project and runs off an appalling amount of water deliberately here....
How many Mthiyane Contract guys have replaced the usual wekkers in those teams? *gags... Roof-It is no doubt getting a huge amount of extra business these days - as long as they take one or two 'specialists' along with them..? *cackles...
I had some more prints done today... Much better quality...*winks at Dev..... A great shot of St. Theresa's church with the AirWing chopper above it, and a head-on view of Bali's streetlight that is delicious in it's detail....*grins...
As I headed out along Jan Smuts Highway this morning at about 8.15am, I checked out the new Westwood Mall on my right.... Far away beyond it, I could see the Reservoir Hills waterworks and at least two brilliant sodium based signal enhancers activated on the newer buildings to the right of the 'flying saucer' reservoir.... I had long thought the additional building out there to be wireless related, if only for the fantastic view they command, and BINGO! There was the proof! *beams..
When I headed back into the Zone some time later, the lights were all off...
Has the Captain of Courage attempted to now backpedal furiously, and say it is entirely a personal matter between us? Nothing whatsoever to do with Koobair, Barnabas and his Merry Crooks? *falls over laughing...
Astounded as I continuously am, to see how many happily purchase the Heroic Pair's particular brand of snake-oil, I remind myself that they are backed and endorsed by some very solid names indeed...*grins..
One of which simply has to be the ex-Sydenham Station Commander, Johan Stolz...
A man sent in to clean up the corruption on the Hill, and who decided for reasons beyond me, to condone our phone being tapped...*shrugs...
It is doubtful he had any idea of the rigorous theatrical efforts made by the Rotten Apples to ensure I had reason to continue to diss the entire station to anyone who would listen....
Neatly done, and by getting his nod of approval, he was himself OWNED by the Rotten Apples....*frowns...
As I have often said, he is still a man I would trust with my life, in spite of the above...*shrugs..
Today will be the fourth problem-free day in a row... No nonsense on the TV or PC....
Typically, I find this mildly disturbing...*chortles...
There is a brisk and icy wind blowing through the valley today... May you stay safe...
Peace...
