Bert is most certainly a pawn in this Game and a willing one at that...unlike Clive at No. 10, who I'm guessing would freak out, could it ever be proven that his property had enhancements made to it without his permission.
I decline to back down on the matter of the monitoring equipment in Captain Courageous' patio. I have seen it on many occasions in the past and would surmise that the Heroic one has now merely moved it below wall level, but that it still remains on the patio.
Do the Courageous pair sit cozily of an evening, figuring out plausible denials to my repeated allegations? I think not. I imagine there is a much savvier team that put their pointed heads together regularly, to work out what lies and denials are best suited for the occasion...*laughs....

As suburbs and cities have huge sections of power deliberately switched off while they are linked to the Data Theft Program, a series of trite and sometimes downright ludicrous excuses are being trotted out to the consumers..

Why is it a Telkom droog that instals the white 'wireless' boxes on the street poles? With his so clearly marked bakkie...? (the red ties on the ladder)
Have Telkom signed contracts with each and every Muni throughout the country? For what purpose? If you own a business I suggest it is well past time you sat up and paid attention.
The average man in the street won't feel a thing as his privacy is totally invaded. Distracted by the ongoing crime levels and powercuts and stressed to the max, why would he pay attention to all the additions to poles in his area? *shakes its head....
As I sat out on the verandah earlier, I clearly heard Dilshaad's Spotty barking down at No. 2. Halleluja! I am delighted and relieved. He is a stoic little beast when you consider the vulnerable position he is in. Kassim has lost dogs in the past, most likely to poison tossed over his wall...
A light aircraft was up earlier...AirWing giving moonlit Scenic Tours? *cackles.....

5.30am and the Captain chirrups his remote... I unlocked the gate chain 5 minutes before and while still standing up there, was treated to the light sweep down the gumtrees.... *nice one thanx Mo....
A tiny aircraft sped across the far horizon heading for Louis Botha... the chopper? I don't think so and besides, we have been back on the flight path recently so it could have been anything...*shrugs...
From the few Newspapers that I read, there have been several recent articles regarding the efficacy of Community Policing Forums... I smell a rat! *shrieks....
The Powers That Be are now backpedalling and suggesting that the entire CPF initiative is a failure and that Police Sector Forums are now the way to go...
As I haven't a clue what the difference is between the two, I will ask my kind Vice-Chair to clarify and get back to you...
The deliberate discord sown at the Pinetown CPF very recently, is what has me thinking there is much more to this matter than meets the eye....*puzzled...
IMO our CPF is achieving all that I expected of it...no more than introducing neighbour to neighbour... the fact that we are manipulated and an amusement for the Rotten Apples is neither here nor there...*beams...
Still dark at 6.00am and neither of the Heroic one's two front lights are on...
at least one of the really powerful aerial/lights on the Power House itself at St. Theresa's, has been adjusted. It now appears much bigger for some reason...
The Ablution Block is dark in spite of the big white light being on, once again, at 5.00pm yesterday.
The windows at the Recreation Centre are lit with their usual orange light, but no sign visible of the Port-a-light.
The amount of equipment I've photographed is laughable. Should anyone query the risks involved, is it denied out of hand? Is it said that activation is perhaps staggered? Pfft... Looking up the valley to Mary/Wragge/Michan Road last night it was like a Fairyland of lights!
Staggered my ass as they say....*grins...
I am certainly not talking your standard inside, residential lights, but outdoor fixtures for the most part...
Would you seriously consider moving in to the area while these 'tests' are being run? *cackles... I very much doubt it...
Part of the pleasure of being able to blog at 61 years old means that I may totter down Memory Lane (and frequently do so) and write it off to old age...*beams...
Like the time back in 1994 when Flo's grandaughter Nonhlandhla lost her baby? I mean she lost it, as in, it disappeared?
A messy business and at the end I had to conclude that she sold it and then changed her mind... I may be way off the mark of course. But we went to court a couple of times in an attempt to have the child returned.
The case was eventually dropped due to the ubiquitous 'Missing Docket' Syndrome....*smiles...
One of the things that really stood out was the utter derision and contempt we were treated with by among others, Captain Butcher/Boucher of the Point Road Police Station...*shrugs...
I have to wonder where the excellent Kommissar was, back in 1994. I understand that at one stage he almost single-handedly 'cleaned up' that particular Station. If only he had been there when we needed him, we may have got to the truth of the matter... *winks at der Kommissar....
Later: 10.30am and I have been listening to the Roadworks jackhammer going for well over an hour or more up by Bert's place.. It will be fun to check for fresh scarring on that section of road from now on.... *grins....
Children appear to be at home on both sides today... Teachers striking? Shocking that such a precious commodity be reduced to this level, while the Corrupt line their bottomless pockets continuously....
St Theresa's tower aerial activated again after sunrise today. I have excellent pictures taken when I visited, which show clearly that there have been items installed up there...*beams... Was the church itself included in the deal when the orphanage and school were taken over by whomever? I'm guessing not....
Later still:
I went up before 12.00noon to find the wekkers had finished outside Berts house. The mountain of dirt has now been neatly stacked back along Bert's garden walll and the pavement is ready to be replaced.
The wekkers were hard at work fixing the caved- in section running next to the pavement below Sue the Book.
All this patchwork is admirable but in actual fact, the entire road down this end should have been torn up and new pipes laid. *sigh....
A stiff North Easter blowing on this lovely sunny day. Who could not help but be happy, even here in the Zone....
