I DON'T CARE HOW YOU LOOK AT ME............

I told you how I hit the sinkage in the road up opposite Number 24 Garbutt Road yesterday? Where the new cable had hopped over the road a few months back? (ok ok thats how I eventually 'saw' that there was a wireless system setup there *laffin....)

Well, driving round into Jan Smuts and heading to Westville yesterday, there was a large crew of wekkers digging a line along the pavement outside the Datsun Garage and the West Riding housing complex parallel to to Jan Smuts Highway. A digger was helping and overseeing the lot was a dude in a Telkom Bakkie.

See, I figure that there are plenty of adsl users right there already so WTF sort of cable is Telkom busy with now? Fibre optic for the Alliance between the Muni, Eskom and the Beast?

*gasps!!! Surely NOT!!!!!!

and further up towards Westville in Devon Terrace we have the same situation. an army of wekkers kitted out in glowing safety gear nogal! Digging a trench for cable laying.... Whoohooo! jaja the taxman could nab some Big players right there once the monitoring system is up and running.

All well and good - and then you have to come back down to earth and face reality.

Why would all the lies and corruption ive personally encountered over the past 8 years be restricted to one gabby old toad?

Course it wont.... one idle remark on your landline or cellphone or in an email that is maliciously passed on and you too will get smacked via your power supply *grins at the thought...

How will these unfortunate future victims deal with it? Will they gibber and weep as I did for years - grovelling and pleading? *pukes.... and then will they too have a revelation/miracle? Will they finally come to see that they are BETTER than the pathetic, corrupt lamers controlling the power supply?

That power and brains mean squat in the long run?

Kindness, tolerance and patience are the hardest lessons to learn and I've still got miles to trudge before I get there...

But the lessons taught me along the way are priceless... *curtseys to Captain Courageous...

Kitt ii wasnt parked at the top of Bali's drive last night. Result? No power dips. Good stuff... but how long will it last?

Absolutely chuffed with the two portraits in yesterdays Rising Sun tabloid. der Kommissar will be laminated asap and stuck next to the others in my Gallery on the fridge...*beaming.....

Oh and may I repeat my offer to help out at the Station? Every time I pop in over a weekend Im told that most of the staff are off. Great to know that crime drops off for 2 days every week heheh.... But I would be happy to sit for a couple of hours on the weekends and help type up reports etc. and maybe answer the phones?

The guys in the Charge Office are excellent and I'm sure we could have a good laugh.

*sigh..... ageism or just an aversion to toads? Bit of both methinks...... enough waffle.....

PS..... Just found a site wireless network products and had a look.... bwaaahaaahaaa... guess what we have newly installed at the apex of our Sherwood Hall roof!!? well i have to say it closely resembles a Directional Panel circular polarised ceiling mount antenna for wireless !!! pffft.....
