The Area Controller decided it was to be a fat load-shedding exercise tonight, and he hit the Off key at 8.09pm, plunging us all into darkness... I took the two hounds and hiked up the stairs to the top to find that Grindrod is as usual pushing some monstrous enhancers across the Playing field and has escaped Balliram's sanctimonious powercut..
From the top floor of the otherwise dark orphanage, two or three big orange lights shine steadily through the smart-finish on the toddler's dorm. windows, though there is absolutely nothing over this side that could be causing those 'reflections'.. Clever..
Of interest are the lights that are on in the top floors of the otherwise uninhabited apartment block right next to the Barnard Road Mast in Mayville across the Freeway. Lights that now face directly across to the enhancers in the Convent's Senior Boys Hostel.. *gags..
Are they new? Is this to get around the huge mound of earth caused by Mr. Dawoods development which has no doubt obstructed DLOS to the ground floor enhancers? Is that the reason for the AirWing chopper circling nine times the night before last? To link up those new enhancers in that empty block?
Is there a Sucker installed in there to activate those lights? A couple of days in that pozzie and I bet he'd have more than just the Christmas Beetle Chorus to contend with...*spews...

I slept like the dead until 2.30am and woke suddenly to find the power had come back on. The first thing I'd thought was to go check where the wireless song was coming from, so ja, it appears the Creep is running it regularly, and he must be certain it won't affect the sleeper in the room behind that wall on his house...As for the sleeper THIS side of our wall, more to follow...It stopped not long after I began stirring and I have to wonder whether he'd rather I hadn't heard it at all? *winks...
I can pull a Pollyanna here and tell myself that as load-shedding goes, shutting us down after 8pm is fairly civilised, despite the toll it must take on the bigger appliances being whacked on and off so often..
Hell, compared to Nos. 17 and 19 who were shut off for four days last week, and no reasons given, I should STFU and count us as lucky?
Turns out No. 12 Garbutt Road was in his fourth day without power yesterday and going nowhere... With all this posturing you couldn't ask for a better display of how each home has now been isolated and can be 'dealt with' remotely..*yawns...

So, how's it done? The blank white pages I started getting as I browsed mybroadband yesterday at around 6pm? See, I'd always thought that each computer had a sort of basic core number known only to your ISP and that apart from that, each time you logged on you were given a different IP number... I couldn't help but visualise our Controller standing at the door of our PC handing out tickets to all-comers...
The mischief had begun last night straight after I'd clicked on Garyvd's R8000 for a spilled drink thread in the CA Forum and once I'd read the first page of posts I was going nowhere.. Was the post itself somehow linked to my IP number, for in truth you'll battle to find a member more vociferously loyal to Sir Frangelica..?*teeth...
Maybe not.. Maybe it's just the usual pathetic FlipDeezy doing his desperate little dance to retain the spotlight... Whatever. I was wondering what would happen were Karl Muller to stop posting at mybroadband and head over to bblounge to continue educating the masses..
