IT'S EVERY MAN FOR HIMSELF...
(begun Sunday 4th September at 6.35am..)

If Balliram didn't deliberately wait until I'd gone up just before 6.30am to collect the Sunday Times off our driveway, I'm not the Village Idiot...  He wanted me to see him heading out at that early hour, so I dutifully watched as he went under the Freeway bridge and turned onto the feed-on to the Western Freeway... *yawns... Gym?
As usual, he's left the levels of BackFire frequency running uncomfortably high, both in and out of doors...
Which of his pupils is to be our temporary proxy while he's out, or does he anticipate being back home or on Ridge Road before his blocking skills are required?  *coughs...

Another night free of the worst of the recognizably painful frequencies, and the little dogs didn't stir at all.. *blinks.. Right now however, there's the pressure in my shrieking ears, BackFire, and a thumb that constantly threatens to die on me...  Over-compensation has always been the name of the game, not so Balliram?  Better safe than sorry?*chokes...

Man, are you dof, or what? It's unlikely that I would have re-visited the scene of the Clare Estate attempted car-jacking were you able to control your bullying tactics.. If there was ever a leak into the shady operations run off the back of the Metro Connect Surveillance Project, you're it, DEWD... *belches loudly...
It's a beaut day here in the valley of the damned, and the kite sits dead-ahead of me, perched at the top of a gumtree, while he studies the menu that jostles on my birdtray...

LATER at 11.00am..

I waved politely to the little Police plane as it went over, heading west, five minutes ago.. On a Sunday nogal? *curious...

I'd made a desultory attempt at hopping into durbanite just before I updated my blog earlier this morning, and found my access was still blocked, and the pages not loading at all..  Whether His Shiftyness had returned from his early morning spin in time to manage my online activities himself, remains to be seen.  I rather suspect he had, as I had no problem typing up The Leak, apart from the www.looklocal addie refusing to convert to a link..  The smallest of signs that suggests that I probably wasn't precisely where my screen said I was... *winks...

Monday 5th September at 3.30am..

I went over to the bblounge site yesterday to see if I could fetch my Avatar and put it in Picasa for future use... It's been a long time since I last visited, and there was a message sitting in my box from Prometheus.. Did I hesitate?  I'd like to think I did, but... Click, and sadly, his message may as well have been in Greek (!) for all the sense it made.. *winks... I ran a full Kaspersky scan shortly afterwards, but it sounded no alarm bells, and I'd mopped my wrinkled brow in relief....

The little irritations with the PC's behaviour have been on the increase lately, and as it's common knowledge that Balliram has absolute control over the machine, any mischief may be safely laid at his door...
And speaking of mischief....
I admit I wonder at the Felon's silence.. It occurs to me that he may be doing rather more than simply engineering organised crime across the Zone for his Mentor, Barnabas....
How simple it would be for him to 'overhear' of any discontent directed at the current Station Leadership, and to call a Sector Head and offer his assistance on a consultancy basis?  How easy would it be for him to persuade an unsuspecting CPF Head that he had been wronged, and that the Guilty verdict had been a set-up?
Would he insist to a less-than-sharp Exec member that their liaison remain a closely guarded secret, but that he would be happy to offer his expertise to combat crime in that Sector, for no reward whatsoever?  *chokes....

The Crumb should of course be fully aware, were there anything like this scenario taking place, and he would've reported it straight back to his immediate Superior at Dodge... Or would he?  *curious...
While I'm only aware of one Sector Head that's had a personal call from Nayager since his expulsion from the Force, begging for his support to be reinstated at SAPS Sydenham, why would he stop there?  Are there others who are contacted regularly on the quiet, to be offered the benefit of this corrupt ex-cop's years of expertise?
It's interesting to speculate which Sector Forum execs would be prepared to overlook the testimony of the abused policewomen, and the resulting Guilty verdict, and to accept any form of assistance from this Disgrace to the Force, whatsoever...

Only once you've fully grasped the options available to those controlling the surveillance technology, added to their ability to access landlines and cellphones, will you begin to realise the extent of the games that may be played with resident's lives..*shrugs...
On the matter of the long-standing Ownership by Barnabas the Druglord of the three apartment blocks that make up Sydenham Heights?  Exactly as happened to Augustine Mngomezulu, and Des Marillier, who had gained the trust of the community housed over there, and were making inroads against Barnabas' runners and dealers before they were suddenly transferred, does it appear that Captain Peters is now being deliberately side-lined as well..

You want to tell us anything, Laz?  You want to fill us in on who it was that suggested Captain Peter's good work was contrary to the real Agenda that's being run out of Dodge City?  While you're clearly revelling in the power that's come your way due to Nayager's inability to control his erm, baser instincts, it's you and only you that will be pointed out as having had a hand in Peter's redeployment...
You want to fill us in on whose idea it was to suddenly decide that the young Captain needed experience in other areas of policing, thereby lessening his contact with the embattled residents at Sydenham Heights? *snarls...   It's going to be more than a little interesting to watch and see whether the Struggle Activist takes up the cudgels on behalf of Syd. Heights as she promised, and fights for the young Captain to be allowed to continue his good work in that area...   I shall certainly regard it as a test of her good intentions, and await the outcome with interest... Moving on...

Did you miss the bristling letter in the latest issue of the Herald?  (Sunday Tribune, Sept. 4th, Page 4 'Front Page News a Sham').  My word, but has the writer not hit the nail on the head?  There'd been mention made recently that young Rajiv Narandas' inability to control his temper was due to his abuse of steroids, and there's a strong possibility that that's the truth...
Since Roy Moodley (Owner of Royal Security and indirectly, my little Nissan Langley) has decided he'd like the entire distasteful situation to simply disappear, has anyone been keeping an eye out for the relevant Magistrate handling that particular case?

Has he or she been taking strain via their powerlines?  Has he/she noticed weird noises on their phones?  Have they taken any personal calls from the millionaire Race-horse owner in the last few months?   Ah people - It's time to sit up and recognize the options and opportunities now available to a criminal element far more sinister than the blatantly greedy trough-feeders...
Allen Spence's willing hand-over of our power circuit to Colin P Balliram, is but the tip of the iceberg, and you'd be as much of a fool as I am, were you to disregard the implications....

How's your bursitis today?  Learning to live with the noisy tinnitis yet?  You're a diabetic?  Then how are your joints these days? Your elbows and hands if you're female, and possibly your knees if you're male?  Playing up at all...? *genuinely interested....

*It's now 5am and the Chop attempts to sneak in the tiny thready squeak of a wireless enhancer nunu nearby.. I spit and it retreats hastily before trying again.. Beams to the left of us, jokers to the right?*
If there are those of you who consider that many of the topics I bring up here shouldn't be discussed freely, and are frankly none of my business, would you like to stand up and give us the reasons behind your thinking?
What have the years of keeping quiet achieved?

Do you still consider the directive to remain silent on the Metro Connect Surveillance Project is to your benefit, and the benefit of the community as a whole?  Seriously?   Despite the blatant evidence that the technology is very much in the hands of criminals and is being used for their gain?
Once again I must point you to Karl Muller as required reading, and if after digesting his writings you still regard the Project as in any way the possible saviour of our country and it's inhabitants, then I can only wish you the best of luck for the future, as you will need it...
Fingers crossed that the weird symptoms you've taken to experiencing are as the Strategist will insist, nothing whatsoever to do with wireless fall-out...  It's every man for himself out there, and, depending on the size of your investment in this fantabulous Project, may I suggest that if you have the means, to at least invest in the costly EMR-repellant sleeping net for your children.. Or not...
Peace...
