CROP-DUSTING...
(begun Sunday 3rd July at 3.30am..)

At 3.15am I put the kettle on and unlocked the front door.  At 3.20am Balliram chirruped his remote and, (just in case I missed it) played a few bars of his alarm as well... *eyeroll..
Whether he's just gotten in from an all-nighter, or my kettle switch woke him (more likely), I feel a twinge of sadness for her.. *sighs...
As a Trials guinea-pig it's okay for me to be crazy, unpleasant, and downright thick, whereas the Would-be Spy represents the entire Metro Connect Information Theft Project in all it's glorious corruption, and you'd think as such, he'd take a bit more care... Or not...

It's quite possible that between us, me and the DickHead are doing our own little bit towards promoting a climate of fear?  A scenario that for a long time elicited no more than derisive hoots and childlike cruelty, has turned into something rather more sinister, to say the least...
The mere thought that you too could find yourself in such an untenable situation, would go a long way to persuading you that the Strategist is the horse to back, not so?  That tying your colours to the Telkom mast is the only way to go, if you're to have any sort of future here? *teeth...
If you sought to play a clever double-game and express one view while secretly holding another, you will lose.. All it will take is the tiniest of errors to be relayed back to the likes of the Telecoms Agent, for his interest to be piqued... *shrugs...

You have only to look at Sydenham Station to see how many officers are literally living a lie... It's guaranteed that Barnabas and his lackey Nayager will have files on a good many of the officers, if not all, and will know exactly where each one's loyalty lies.... *yawns...  A single unguarded remark is all it would take for THEIR home monitoring systems to be activated, and I guess that at least some of them are by now aware of this....
I doubt you can begin to imagine the stress under which these guys are forced to work, as they struggle to do their job, while keeping up appearances....

Is there something different about the so-called 'TV aerial' that hugs the new shark cage balcony on the top floor of the orphan's dormitories across at St. Theresa's?  Has it grown taller all of a sudden, or is it a trick of my florid imagination?  *makes note to check albums...

LATER at 5.25am

And there goes the Gumshoe's alarm again.. A fumble?  Somehow I don't think so.... *winks...

LATER at 10.00am

M A Pillay of Toti is back on today's Tribune Herald letters page, as determined as ever to paint a false picture of the convicted Sex Pest, Glen Nayager..
The writer's insistence at continuing to award the Felon the rank of SAPS Colonel, despite his dismissal from the Force, has me questioning his/her motives...
Are the letters penned, a favour returned, or the results of being leaned on?  Either way, M A Pillay deserves a closer look by Booysens, and who knows what might bob to the surface of that murky pool? *fascinated...

LATER at 2.30pm

Could it be that the 900MHz frequency Karl Muller mentions in the Broadband News Forum 'Cellphone radiation killing you thread, is the one I've always referred to as the Chronic Fatigue frequency?  If chatting on your cellphone can put you into a light trance-state, WTF happens when your home is flooded with it?  You fall asleep, is my guess... *looks at the Dick... Having fun sweetheart?  No personal side-effects yet?
You all don lead aprons when you're hanging out at the Wireless Station on Ridge Road?
Ooops!  I forgot!  You're omnipotent, and it's only your victims that will experience fallout... *waits patiently...

What floor did the youngster live on?  The one that hung himself over at Block B, Sydenham Heights a couple of days ago?  Was he a designated Trials guinea-pig as well?  I wouldn't ask, except that she said it took six calls to Dodge before anyone bothered to go and help the lad's mother.. He was an oxygen thief, and not worthy of your officers breaking sweat to get there?  *looks at Laz....
Judging by the stunning success that Balliram and his erm, 'colleague' achieved on the little Sydenham Heights CPF Rep, you won't be offended if I regard the youngster's death with more than passing interest?
After all, I'm aware that there's documentation claiming that certain wireless frequencies can lead to severe depression, and quite possibly suicide?
How many other targets do you have at Block B? Does the Tetra mast on top of Block C (?) enhance the attacks on your chosen test dummies?  Anyone developed cancer on the top floors since that baby was installed?  Claudia? *nauseated....

Monday 4th July at 4.30am..

Will the Pith-Helmetted One be putting a turkey on the braai today, or is it peeing with rain and bitter cold down his way?  It's odd that I simply can't recall him ever having written a nasty post... Even his occasional put-downs have an air of detached logic to them, devoid of any malice.. Ag, thats crazy.. They're probably out there and I missed them is all.. *shrugs...
It's true that he fits the role of Observer perfectly, and that he may well be there on the Forum to report back on the successes achieved by the Recruitment Centre, though it's also true that I continue to see shadows where they simply don't exist.... *eyeroll...

I woke some time after 2am with both hands on fire, but mercifully they'd recovered, and I'd gone back to sleep until 3.30am, when it was most likely the little dog flapping his ears frantically before thudding to the floor and heading to the lounge, that woke me the second time, but I can't be sure of it... Moving on..

I did my own runoff yesterday, and spent the morning moving the sprinkler every half hour, in an effort to save the acalypha that he's pruned so drastically...As it turned out, I needn't have bothered, as it rained fairly heavily last night.. Sod's Law I guess... *shrugs...
My kid flies out tonight to go visit the Aviator who's working in Blighty for a while, so the next few months are going to be pretty quiet for me and the old man.. Theoretically, at least, hey Balliram?  *winks horribly...

Aqua Transport and the Muni droog roadwekkers have been more than lavish with the re-surfacing, and our street is a pleasure to navigate at the moment..  Will they return and finish the job off properly, tidying up after themselves?  The head of the Reservoir Hills Sector Forum was in the Gazette last week, as he grumbled about the chaos left behind once their streets had been re-surfaced.. He named no names, but I'm willing to bet it's the same outfit as are doing ours...

Something's missing this morning.. I lack the feeling of offence taken, by the enormous corruption that surrounds the Metro Connect Project, without which my pen simply refuses to write... Make the most of it, as it's guaranteed my hackles will rise again, sooner rather than later....Cheers...

LATER at 7.45am

Like I said - That didn't take long.. Check out the front page of today's Times, Secret Report Calls for Crime Compensation', to see what's got me frothing at the wimmies...
Does this mean that B.Snr. will at last be able to claim the compensation owed him by Mike Sutcliffe's Metro Connect Surveillance Project?  The family don't have medical aid, and it's a fact that he was subjected to extreme violence on both 15th November and the 15th December, 2005, in his unwitting role as Test Dummy for the Project Trials...

The estimates touted for survivors of your standard violent crimes, are themselves laughable.. But when you consider the trauma that B.Snr endured in not once, but twice, having to have fluid drained from his brain area, due solely to the reckless behaviour of Allen Spence and Colin P. Balliram as they fumbled gaily while setting up the surveillance technology, I'd say a cool million in compensation may just about cover it...
What sort of golden handshake will the scurvy City Manager be given on his eventual departure?
You want to bet that he could cover the amount owed to B.Snr, personally, without making so much as a dent in his bulging wallet?  *spews...

Reprehensible.. A fitting word to cover the actions of a bunch of corrupt thieves far worse than the average trough-feeders that abound down at City Hall...
Sure, B.Snr. survived, and he wasn't bed-ridden or crippled by those two attempts on his life, though the subsequent ongoing efforts by our Area Controller have me thinking Balliram regrets not nailing the Pensioner permanently, all those years ago... *gags...

Any crop-dusters about?  It might be an idea to go spray heavily over at the Radio Station on Ridge Road, and chances are that you may eradicate some of the most poisonous weeds that have ever flourished in this country... How you would warn the Good guys to get clear, is your business, but I figure a good dose of Agent Orange or the like, settling in a cloud over the office that Nayager and Balliram frequent, would go a long way to improving the health of a host of their innocent targets here in the Zone...*foaming at the bit...

A sparrow-hawk, smaller even that the ring-necked doves, has successfully cleared both the coral tree and the bird tray, in his quest for breakfast... As it happens, just ahead of his mystified and much larger cousin who sits now, outside my window, with an air of disappointment about him... *grins....
Peace...
