VISIBLE DAMAGE...

(begun Monday 10th May at 4.35am...)

A nasal fracture?!  One could expect to at least have two black eyes with an injury of that nature?  A fair amount of blood?  The press picture I saw, purportedly taken at Parklands shortly after the Good Superintendent had decked the Abuser and removed his cocked pistol, showed no physical damage whatsoever...*snorts..

And now, some seven months AFTER the event, Nayager is trying his luck with a R50k lawsuit against Augustine, for assault... One punch that is now being touted as a beating FFS!  *falls over laughing... The GW asked whether I thought der Kommissar had used one of Schabir's doctors to obtain his medical report... The same lot who claimed the Whisperer was knock, knock, knocking on Heaven's door and should be released immediately, to die with dignity in his palace at 343 Innes Road...
How much of the R50k was the medical practitioner to be paid, were der Kommissar to win the case?  A few creative tweaks to the original medical report and Bob's your uncle?  *winks...

Was I dreaming when I said I'd seen Nayager a few nights after the altercation up at Dodge, as cocky as ever, and not a scratch on him?  Certainly not someone whose life had taken a R50k downturn forever, due to a fractured nasal bone....
Don't you LOVE how he's tacked on his 'deteriorated vision'?  The fellow is pushing 50 FFS, and it will be the hours of porn he watches and the miniscule cameras he monitors, never mind his age, that have him needing reading spectacles, and certainly not the punch thrown by the Good Superintendent as he defended himself from the threatening One-Eyed Jackass....
You can bet your bottom dollar that those medical reports from Friday September 4th, 2009 have been tampered with by now... *yawns...  Come, give me the doctor's name that has been persuaded to add all this rubbish to the original document, that we may draw our own conclusions?  Did he/she 'adjust' them willingly, or did they need 'persuading'?

V. cleared the sewage drain cover for me on Saturday afternoon and I checked the area yesterday to find no evidence at all of any more surges or runoffs, nor so much as a whiff of raw sewage... Oddness...
The music and merriment next door was still in full swing last night as I began to tidy up and ready for bed...
I pointed out in amusement to the GW how the music stopped each time we conversed... *grins.. An unavoidable fact that has long been a dead giveaway..
Balliram simply can't hear what is being said in our home unless he turns his stereo down first...*laughing..
It's been my pleasure to mumble stuff in the past, purely to enjoy hearing him adjust his volume accordingly...

It must appear that I've abandoned my calls for the authorities to quit persecuting the Abahlali over in Kennedy Road.. I haven't ..
I did however become totally confused when I was told that Sbu Zidoke may himself be behind some of the mischief in order to perpetuate funding from abroad...  Clearly I'm not quite the full-blown cynic I imagine myself to be, and I've been shocked into silence on that score, while a great deal of added misery has been going down at the Settlement..
If it hadn't been for our Motherbody Chair mentioning a massive police operation taking place there last week I'd have been none the wiser..
Was this not reported in the Press and if not, why not?  Did I simply miss the coverage it was given?  *curious..
I read of the devastating fire on Monday 26th April and that was it... *stumped... I suspect it's not just the Abahlali that are being manipulated here, but the entire settlement community who are suffering as they are used as pawns by their political Masters...*vomits...
The few from Kennedy Road that had begun attending our CPF Meetings (by order of..?) have since disappeared back into the woodwork, and I guess that life over there right now is pretty unpleasant....

Tuesday 11th May at 3.55am...

They arrived at midday to sort out our sewage problem.. Three old-school guys and their driver who made the entire messy business look easy... We'll never know what caused the backup and whether it was the mulberry tree roots on the Muni greenbelt side that had caused the problem, or whether the manhole cover in the valley had been tampered with... *shrugs... Up to now it's always been a filthy task as they've had to push a rod physically through the mucky line to find the blockage.. This time they arrived in a larnie white vehicle with a high pressure hose, and by the time they'd finished you could eat your dinner down there.. *grins..
Suspicious creature that I am, I continue to regard Balliram askance, for the timing of this mini-crisis if nothing else... *shrugs...

Though they were supposed to have attended, and most certainly have a copy of our year-planner, there was no police presence at our CPF Meeting last night...*rolls eyes....
Why would they bother, when the proceedings could be followed from Dodge City?  It was nice to see the big field overheads on for the second time in a row and I guess they contributed handsomely to improved reception for the Listeners?  *winks...
For which Team does our new companion bat?  Whilst I'm enjoying the occasional snippet of inside information he graciously imparts, I simply regard it as a different point of view and certainly not gospel... He's pleasant company and works hard at it, and it would be great to think he has no shadowy Agenda, but.....but......      *grins...

It's Block C at Sydenham Heights that proudly bears the Tetra mast on it's roof.. Did you know that they get paid for the privilege of risking their health?  Would a survey of the tenants medical records reveal any startling results?  Like that's going to happen!.. *snorts...

The reason for the grim faces in the Charge Office at Dodge when I flew in last Saturday became apparent last night... Three officers were nabbed for taking bribes and I guess the rest are now all looking over their shoulders... *sad... Though I couldn't put names to faces, I'm guessing they were old-guard, merely following the example set by their Head of Station, Nayager... An unfortunate state of affairs to put it mildly, and you can bet there are politics involved...  Were they supporters of Nayager's regime?  Those that were quoted in the Gazette on 6th May as saying they weren't aware of anything untoward taking place at Dodge? *cackles..
Once again it's ultimately the Community that will pay the price for this corruption, and the blame can be laid squarely at der Kommissar's door...*gags...

Observations?   The huge light on the renovated Recreation Centre at St. Theresa's was already activated when I glanced over there at 5.00pm yesterday.. Blinding as it is, I guess that baby can slice right through brick and mortar and will have to be handled with care or it will cause visible damage to some of the trees nearby... Did I say handled with care?  What was I thinking?!  *looks at the unqualified Cracker with contempt....
There are in fact now two new 'crickets' arrived in our garden this last week... One in the back and one in the front... Tis true we've had a really warm spell of weather and I've seen for myself the noise generated by the Real Deal..
Would you have me believe that the disappearance of the toads due to the toxic water levels has led instead to the sudden arrival of these humungous (sp) mutant crickets?
Our garden is criss-crossed with mole tunnels right now, and it's going to have to be a canny cricket that avoids god's little plough indefinitely... Or for that matter, the eight odd hadedas that patrol the garden daily..
The cricket's near non-stop buzzing from what is consistently the same point, must surely act as a beacon- finder to their predators?  Or not... *winks...

It promises to be another beautiful day here in the Zone.. Who will be targetted today Balliram?  You and your Mentor keep a list of possibilities to ensure you meet your daily quota?  Who was it that arranged for the Health Department Rep's outbuilding to be broken into?   She attends our CPF Meetings fairly regularly, and that's reason enough?   *pukes...

LATER at 8.00am..

It was just before 7.00am that I looked up to see smoke coming up from the trees at the end of the little bluff where the (now strangely absent) red/maroon people carrier usually parks.. Bushdwellers, or a GateKeeper installed to handle the runoffs?  *interested..
I've an idea the three youngsters we saw down by the stormwater drain yesterday after 12.00noon might know something about the housebreaking and theft that took place in Hugo Road yesterday?
A couple of shots on full Zoom is all I need should they return...
The prints will be delivered to the Principal to identify and hopefully the shit will hit the fan... Party Pooper? Ekke?  Nooit! *winks..

Peace julle..
