Was it rpm's own decision to throw himself on his sword by posting in the iBurst/Noseweek thread on Mybb yesterday?  It's fairly disturbing to see how so many years of good standing and credibility can be lost by one simple post... *sighs.. It was garyvh's choice to stick his neck out on a subject he repeatedly insisted wasn't of much interest to him, and though I realise that rpm sought to support him, the damage was done...
The site-owner's post is there for all to see and the harm he has done himself is irreversible... *looks at the Strategist... Happy now?   You could have stopped him before he did himself a mischief and yet you chose to remain silent... *sad...

My god, where is Karl Muller?  If he considers my repeated shrieks to him an irritation that will merely increase the surveillance that now saturates his every move, he would be sadly mistaken.. Nothing I say or do will make any difference at all. He was a marked man from the moment he first appeared on the MyBB Forum and by now every move he makes and sound he utters will be monitored and recorded by his enemies..

There is of course one massive difference between his situation and ours.  The man has a brain and the knowledge to understand the technology that is being used to run what is purported to be SARS Big Brother Information Theft Project...  Is he clever enough to keep them out of his home or not?  Every jackpoint in every room can now be regarded as an entry point for these criminals, who insist they are working for the good of the country.  Are you going to continue to sit silently as we go down the tubes?
Has it occurred to you that the Rocket Scientist may be the one person able to force the Authors of the Project into being more circumspect in their choice of Controllers?  If you were to collectively combine your brain-power with his, we'd be in with a chance FFS...

LATER at 8.15pm

Today I pruned back the shrub just outside the window here.. Home to the astonishingly vocal 'cicada' for the past three or four nights, it was badly in need of a trim.  Though I kept an eye out for it as I worked, I saw no sign of the little fellow...*grins...
We'd watched one shed it's coat up at the kid's place a few months back, so I knew what I was supposed to be looking for....
Now, the only sound that comes from that direction as I write, is one of Ballirams cricket devices.. Go figure...

It's our CPF AGM tomorrow night and I'm due to send out the text reminders first thing in the morning... Could that be the reason my Nokia's screen has been greyed out since this afternoon?  When we'd pulled up at the school gate last week and I'd tried to phone the School Secretary, did I forget to mention that my signal suddenly dropped down to one bar?  Right there, pretty much surrounded by masts?  *looks at Jannie van Zyl...
Who actually signed over the Zone's phones to Nayager and his Monkey?  Toby van Heerden?  Neville Brooks?  Who is Richard Mays?  Ajam Haffejee over in the Wimax Department at Telkom Overport?  Devan Pillay?  Come, come... Who arranged for these criminals to be given the ability to access any landline or cellphone they choose?

She sat up straighter and looked at me as I reached the top step and came into view early this morning.. Did she want a word?   Sitting as she was on their front verandah, bathed in the lights they obligingly run for the Project?  I'd be utterly thrilled to chat about the Convent mini base station and their family's reasons for being among the Chosen, and whether the oldies have cramps and pins and needles and their joints give them agony, though I guess that won't be happening any time soon...*sighs..

I'm guilty ja.. I put her on a pedestal and credited her with more strength than she actually had...*sighs.. If by doing so, it led directly to making her life more difficult, I'll make a rare apology.  I've no Catcher or Safety Net to save me, and yet I persist in returning time after time, despite the inevitable unpleasant fallout....  A bugger for punishment?  You think?
There are those among you who could persuade her to return and to ignore the clever efforts by the Strategist to undermine her, and I'd be grateful if you would do just that..*grins..
She should set aside her injured pride and build herself armour strong enough to withstand all comers, simply because she's worth it... *waves....  I've no idea why I don't just let the matter drop, only that in some way she is crucial to my saga, and the sooner she gets back in the Game, the better...*shrugs..

I left the tops of the blue garden refuse bags open so the 'cicada' could escape overnight if he chose to... *cackles...  Will a cousin arrive soon enough to take his place?  Will a replacement land magically in our garden on Thursday while I'm safely out at the shops and Penny and Sophie are deafened by the vacuum?  It's just way too easy isn't it you scumbag?
What's the cost difference between an out-of-season cicada and a top-of-the-range micro transmitter/receiver designed for the great outdoors?  Considerable?  *staggers off to comb through the two blue bags just in case...
