WHEN YOU LOSE SOMETHING YOU CAN'T REPLACE...
(begun Saturday 9th June at 5.15am)
My Master amuses himself....
One of the gothic style windows over on St. Theresa's church is lit by what looks like an inside neon light. Something new. (see pic)
At 5.15am the Recreation Centre lights are off. No sign of the Port-a-Light either. The biggie orange light is on, facing us directly from over at the Senior Boys Hostel.
I've not seen Freddie's traffic- light type sensors in his upstairs window for a while.... Val didn't care for them?
Course I see this morning the bright orange light down the bottom of his garden is on (facing our front garden) *shrugs...
All dark over at the Servant's Quarters/Ablution Block right now...
The permanent, always-on, culprits are activated as usual (see pics). The small ones, that you are not supposed to notice..*grins...
In the end, catching the little orange cat this morning, was a doddle...
After stressing about it for weeks I simply fed him, picked him up and put him in the cat basket. He never said a word, even when I closed the lid.
Hes shut in the kid's room, in the basket now, till Royce comes down to fetch him.
Such a small beast and he has survived so far against all the odds... Tempting to have just left him living somewhere in the bush and dodging the neighbourhood dogs but hey....you blink and its fireworks time again.. Better he has somewhere safe indoors to run to...
The GameWrecker is going to the GP this morning to have his ears checked. The dizziness lingers... Boring details? Not at all...under the 'current' (haha) circumstances, his health is very much a part of this sorry tale of corruption at its finest....
Fingers crossed the doc finds some arb reason to explain my old mans problem and can fix it....
Happy noises coming from the Captain's property yesterday (via the stereo) *beams..... he has company visiting... a much younger version of himself, earring and all... A trainee? Devoted fan?
It matters not, as long as Captain Courageous is happy that is all that counts...*shrugs...
Later: 11.00am
The cat went went off with it's owner, complaining loudly, before 7.00am. Turns out its name is Carrot - How cool is that for a ginger cat? *laughs.....
The verdict given to the GameWrecker by the doctor? Somewhat puzzling. The GP says he has had many patients recently, complaining of similar dizziness. He calls it a virus for want of anything better and is going to try and find a common factor between these patients... You have to wonder if they live next door to a Base Station setup... karma!!!
*looks at Mistuh Allen Spence... imagine if they were all somehow affected by the change in EMF levels? Wouldn't that be one for the books? *shrugs... On 2nd thoughts, no. Add to the growing list of things you'd rather not hear..
It is quite amazing that none of your Designated Controllers or their families display these weird symptoms... or do they, but the financial rewards keep them silent? *curious....
Sophie and me got our first daylight look at Captain Courageous' new canine acquisitions this morning. They may well be extremely rare Outer Mongolian Wire-Haired Miniature Ghlyphylla - but my mistake in thinking them to be Jack Russells...*laughing...
Dear Nobby is fully doing the anxious Nanny thing and is a pleasure to watch as he herds them about.
I am most impressed that mon Capitano has taken on so much extra responsibility (if indeed they are his dogs). Or will he be an owner that assumes they are all company for each other and can be left to their own devices? Time will tell....*yawns...
The Nokia nonsense continues... a full signal and battery this morning at sparrows.... I checked and then sent Royce a text to say I'd successfully caught Carrot.
It went off just fine. A few minutes later, as his reply came back, my phone switches off... A performance it has repeated each time he texts me...*snorts...
I forgot to ask him how the Meeting went with Carol...
You remember she sent me a text ages ago saying she was meeting with Royce about his house sale? Hmm.. - hopefully I can ask him when he returns the cat basket...*chuckles...
Turns out he sold his house up behind the Druglord, to a guy he knows, also in the Motor Trade.... interesting...
Who else in this ongoing Game do we know, that works in Car Sales? *beams at Missus Courageous....
Its midday and just the tiniest of breezes stirs the top of the gumtrees.. I can hear kids playing over on the field in the warm, winter sunshine... all so sort of normal and yet....
Such massive changes as never before seen, are spreading inexorably deeper into the Zone and beyond, throughout the country... Whether changes for Good or Bad I cannot guess...
Peace...
