THIS IS ALL THAT I HAVE.....
As I sat in the corner of the lounge this morning at 3.55am Captain Courageous joined me with a loud chirrup on his remote and the perfectly audible noises made as he activates his preferred jackpoints..... *beams....
I'd been through the pics on the camera and deleted the one of mon Capitan.... depending on which camp you are in, it was a good/bad picture but not one that I personally cared for....
I also had a look at my photo album and quite honestly have to admit that it really is only of interest to me...*grins...
My theory about the GameWrecker's new car having been 'customised' during a deliberate delaying tactic, stands. I pretty much hit the nail on the head there didn't I? *beams...
The Captain more or less confirmed this when, after my blog remarking on the amazing lights in the Mercs. headlight, it was that very evening, moved back to the top of the drive out of sight....*cackles....
A little more difficult to hide the GameWrecker's neat additions, but as he still holds with the 'reflected light' theory, not a problem that should be of any concern...
How I wish I could give names to all the different coloured lights that so enchant me..... google it? Heh as if.... a cognitive learner at best I'm afraid....
Without a doubt the deep orange lights are my favourite.. I would guess that colour is to do with the fibre-optic cable being laid all over? Don't laugh as I totally grope in the dark here....*goes purple....
You could actually follow the progress of the Data-Theft Program by checking out the areas that have the deep orange lights lining the bigger roads...
Speaking of which, der Kommissar had his name on the front page of the Daily News last night...
Something that I expect to see happening more often as he swiftly climbs the ladder of success. *wonders what ever happened to Bala Naidoo, the policeman who was for many years constantly quoted in the Press - retirement?
The journalist who wrote last night's piece, unwittingly fell into the Grand Theatrics style that our Station so favours... I could almost hear the stage curtains swish open and the footlights click on...heh..nice one...
As to the young thief - will he be put away properly when finally caught, or will he continue to be used in the manner of Adrian Kingsley? A litany of lame excuses given as he remains free to answer only to the Masters of Organised Crime? *eyebrows up...
Will there be a pulse-racing chase through the valley? A dozen vehicles packed with fully armed cops to arrest this young child? 2 choppers in the area to assist? I love you guys! *laughing....
I don't know how many years it is exactly, that I have been regarded as the Village Idiot and a source of constant ongoing amusement - but at last, in the role reversal situation that currently stands, I tend to find a great deal of humour in the blatant skullduggery that abounds in this suburb....*grins...
In spite of all the amazing technical innovations being utilised, the whole scheme still tends to have a quaint Boys Own air about it...*nudge, wink..... sometimes beautifully executed but more often than not of late, clumsy and rushed.....
Bert was hard at it in his front flower bed when I finally got back home at midday. I will have to wait till after dark to see whether he has pruned the shrubs that were making it difficult for him to follow my movements....*cackles....
Fred's valley light and the other more interesting light, were both off last night and this morning. Only one bright white light over at the Ablution Block on at 4.00am..
As a matter of interest.... are the staff that actually live in the Senior Boys Hostel buildings aware of the possible risks? The odds are too low to even consider there might be a problem? Sister Stephens certainly thought it laughable but again, is she fully in the picture? Does she know that most of what appear to be outdoor lights and are dotted about Everywhere, are in fact aerials? Hmm...
After 4.00pm this afternoon there seemed to be some sort of problem with the Nework system. I would guess that Bali was home but Mo at No. 2 kept setting of his house alarm. Something that I have long considered as a signal to activate the Wireless Network...
I think it must have gone off 5 or even 6 times between 4 and 5 pm.
I finally remembered that I'd pulled the plugs from the modem this morning in case there were more surges sent while I was out (*smiles at Bali...), so I replaced them hastily and about 10 minutes later my electric doorbell at the top did a half-hearted chirrup...*sigh...
Surely it would've been easier to just phone me and remind me to put the darned plugs back in? Hey - in my dreams ...*and falls over laughing.....Now as I head over to publish this, Nobby is once again out on the street in the dark and no way of getting back inside his property...
