BEYOND REASONABLE DOUBT.....
At 3.50am this morning someone was showing distinct signs of inadequacy. Fired off first one, then two, then another 5 or 6 shots in rapid succession. Fairly nearby and yet I felt no curiosity whatsoever, apart from a slight contempt and the realization that the owner of the firearm obviously had unlimited access to ammunition. Desensitized? I dunno - living as we do next to the Freeway and Jan Smuts Highway for yonks, one can tell the difference between backfiring (some of which is, I grant you, spectacular) and gunshots....
Woke to a lovely soft drizzle falling and a merciful but slight, drop in the temperature.
Shortly after going to bed last night and turning off the light, a single quiet chirrup from Captain C's remote signalled the end of a really good day. *heads up dear boy.....
I really love this country with a passion and believe it to be unique... sure the crime is appalling and I would guess that there are very few left, if any, in positions of authority, that arent by now on the payroll of the Corrupt in one way or another.
Can Telkom, Overport claim to be the originators of this so lucrative scheme? It wouldnt surprise me in the least heh.....
Is there an independent, untainted body anywhere, with the courage to investigate the Durban Municipalities Wireless link-up? A body that couldnt be bought off or threatened at all? It would seem, from the blatant disregard to Health risks, not....sigh..
If it could be proven in say 3 years time, that a remarkable number of residents bordering this little valley, were displaying signs of cancer, would there be any form of recompense paid out? Any apology? *laughing......
Naturally the Masters of this scheme know full well that it would be a nigh on impossible task to canvas all these people, not forgetting how many have already accepted carrots and are now beholden to the Beast for perks they feel they cannot live without...
No nearer solving the red light house marker mystery and must accept J's contention that it is merely an added security precaution, for the moment.
I have tried to convince myself that Munis worldwide are setting up similar wireless data theft systems due to the threat of terrorism. But I keep coming up with discrepancies. I mean, theres this Muslim compound/complex situated up the road between Cullingworth and hmm Kemble or Jersey roads, on Jan Smuts Highway right?
Judging from the fairly new and strangely angled light one can see driving past, they appear to have been incorporated by invitation into the Wireless link-up. This compound sports a guard-hut and a boom at its front entrance with several heavily armed (automatic rifles) uniformed guards.. WTF???
Permission to carry these arms granted by??
Then there is the fact that the known druglord further down on Jan Smuts Highway is so heavily involved in this Wireless setup. If questioned, would the authorities go with the 'its better to have him on board where we can watch him" Bullshit?
See now - I do have a real problem with that. The gentleman has been in a protected position long before the Muni Wireless Scheme went into operation. In fact, I would guess he goes right back to ex-Station Commander Koobair and his informants up at Telkoms Overport depot. Its also highly probably that the druglord is the connection to crooked Government officials... how incredibly handy.....*beams...
Comforting it was, to hear the chopper go overhead this morning at 7.08am *curtseys... its been a while....
And so - the Big Brother wireless link-up is now out in the open, though the system is so carefully couched in Munibabble the masses won't have a clue... I do not read the words 'invasion of privacy' anywhere. Nor do I see a full and clear list published of this system's invasive abilities *chuckles....
There are some truly nasty surprises in store for far more residents than just the unsuspecting guinea-pigs down our way..
It is quite frankly, the Beyond Reasonable Doubt thing that prevents these crooks from being forced to pay Basil, Sue and Penny compensation for their ill-health. There is absolutely nothing I can do to change this - though it certainly makes me feel better venting here * laughs.....
Twas before 1.00pm and I heard the familiar chirrup of my Controller's remote. The Heroic Purveyor of Infinite Punishments for Imagined Slights is again, home early. He misses me? *cackles.....
