AND IF YOU LIVE BY THE RULES............
Ah .. the joys of a summers day. I sit here on the front verandah marvelling at the hot wind that has blown up so swiftly in the last hour.
As I watch, a rotund gentleman wearing lumo orange wekker pants makes his way purposefully to the front of the bluff across the valley and drops his drawers to take a dump.
We sit contemplating each other for a short while and eventually he is finished and leaves.
I am totally unoffended and fully understand the concept of "if you've gotta go, you've gotta go.."
Somebody a good deal wiser than Captain Courageous has possibly suggested that leaving me alone might be the solution to shutting me up? *laffin..... easier said than done ja...
the small stuff as always.... all the upgrades and downloads that we so carefully declined were done anyway by whom? The hand of god? The spirit of the PC? It certainly didnt gobble that much bandwidth so, thank you Bali....
I was amused to find that sometime between hitting the empty trench crossing Garbutt Road at No. 24 yesterday morning, and going out this morning before 8.00am, the gaping wound has been neatly filled in and tarred. Impressive! I also must remark on the fairly newly laid cable that now hops across Locksley Drive to the Hospice.... What busy beavers you all are......
The Muni Water Dept. bakkie under the trees in the valley at 11.45am. They've since left and judging from the amount of empty containers strewn about where they were parked, I'd guess lunch was one of their goals. Quite possibly they also opened the water line down there for an hour or so?
The constant reminders in the press regarding water wastage and rates hikes always lurking, may alert a few of the sheeplike residents to notice all these deliberate runoffs....
Candella Road and of course much nearer to home we have ................. doing her bit regularly...
I was lucky to find the Councillors wife home this morning though no doubt she hadn't a clue what I was on about.
Last night well after 9.00pm we watched the chopper circling over Durban North/Phoenix? So much for busy down South heheh...
The dips in our power supply continue...
