A WALK ON THE WILD SIDE....
(begun Sunday at 1.30pm)
The first thing you see as you head down into the valley past No. 2, is a length of orange piping lying on the verge....
These days, a trademark of the Beast...*grins...
A few steps further and you see that the earth has been washed down the slope by a large amount of water.... and right next to that, hard up against the fence bordering the Freeway fly-on, is a new manhole.... a neatly bricked square dropped some 5/6 feet into the ground with an exposed pipe sticking out in the middle....
Stuffed into this pipe are (I'm only guessing here) some half dozen black worm cables....fibre? (wouldn't know fibre if it leapt up and bit us)*grins...
As we walked further into the valley it got even more interesting....
The rather lovely copse/stand of trees directly opposite the foot of Kasims property, is no more...*baffled...
Instead, the bush has been encouraged to grow wild and now covers the little glen totally...
Impenetrable one would think ja...*laughs....
Except that I've a feeling the bush is there for a specific purpose...
If I were to climb the hill as we did, but instead to hang a left turn and go back under the gumtrees, where there has been so much busyness of late... What would I find????
Quite possibly one of these? This smart new blue water meter was photographed in Summit Drive recently. Man, this is just a wild guess of course...*chortles...
This mlungu parked over there on Friday at 2.44pm was pretty much the straw that laid the golden egg....*cackles...
What with these contractors clearing away that section and these Muni droogs busy down there for so long, and a seemingly constant string of vehicles arriving at odd hours to 'hang out' at that exact spot.... I have to deduce that its a fairly important part of the Trials....*falls over laughing...
This hectic sodium-based wall light was still active at 7.30am as we staggered up the hill past the Senior boys Hostel towards St. Theresa's Road...
A fine zoomed-in shot here taken when the Councillor and I visited Sister Stephen up at the Convent...*cackles...
The residence built next to the Hostel (and I use the term loosely) is the strangest structure you could imagine... If she is right and the owner is an engineer, would that be of the electrical variety? *grins...
The towering thick wall resembling a battlement, with no windows at all looking out over the Freeway to Mayville and beyond.... the stainless steel ladder fixed to the wall and leading to the top of the 'battlement' for what purpose?
The aerial lights EVERYWHERE on the building?
Could Bali and Sabeera's new bunkers be built with a similar principal in mind? WhateverTF that principal is? *laughs...
Both the hidden copse in the valley and this strange edifice, scream for a closer inspection...
At one point on this mornings ramble, we had a perfect view of Fred's servants quarters, with one of the two signal enhancers still active...just doing his bit as usual heh...*beams..
As the next furore will be about the water supply, I am getting my fat foot in that door fairly early on.
Head down Sparks to Keal Road why don't you. Check out the enormous amount of water that has been eating away at the road surface for months.
We took a stroll up that little road today and found the water running freely as we watched, from No. 34.
No - not from the Pisces Swimming School right across the road, so don't even TRY that one...*cackles...
If the owner of No. 34 is indeed a lawyer (hearsay) and yet doesn't grasp that water is precious after all this time, one must assume that he rides the Big Brother gravy train along with so many others in the Zone...*snorts...
That this river of water is being deliberately wasted to aid the cable laying droogs is clear.
I understand this particular highly visible runoff has been regularly reported to the Water Department with no results at all - leaving the honest residents non-plussed as their utility rates rocket.
Little wonder then that our Councillor has no doubt been advised to make himself scarce at the CPF Meetings....*waves to Aziz....
I see fun times ahead...*shrieks....
The sports field at Butcher Road had all of their overhead spots activated as we strolled by this morning. Both fluorescent and sodium based. A smashing sight, but not a one-off, as these lights were on when I drove round the area a few weeks ago and are probably activated 24/7....
The threats and posturing by Eskom are laughable when the Municipality themselves are wasting visible power by the bucketload to aid the Data-Theft Project...*coughs...
Strolling up Macafferty Road towards the Station on the Hill, we passed No. 16. Another home so decorated with wireless signal enhancers, it must resemble a christmas tree when they are all activated..*chuckles..
At some point we walked passed the tiny, unassuming, but beautifully kept home of the elderly couple that were brutally attacked the week before last in Everton Road.
My cynical mind immediately wondered whether it was an arranged assault by someone who wanted the property. With the old man now fighting for his life it is likely they won't return to live there and the house will go up for sale.
Yet another asset for Earl Barnabas to acquire? *interested...
Wild flights of fancy? Indeed not.
Though on a rather smaller scale, my Masters callousness has demonstrated perfectly, the lengths that the Crooked will go to, to achieve their goals...
That this jolly band of thugs are not fettered by any nonsensical code of conduct or ethics is glaringly obvious...(see the Rotten Apples and the Pseudo-Suicide Scenario) *falls over...
Which reminds me how careful one has to be, when living in a glass house...
I have this friend who was in an abusive relationship. The abuser himself in some weird form of Divine Justice, was mugged and is now pretty much a vegetable.
My friend has found someone new and I was happy for her...
Until I heard that she has repeated her mistake and is getting badly beaten, regularly, by the new B/F...*spits...
She is a quiet, sad girl who certainly doesn't strike me as braving a Charge Office and opening a docket... And so my immediate thought?
How I would love to go up to the Hill and ask the guys there to sort this Bastard out! *growls...
Hypocrisy in its finest form *grins...
I have blogged several times about the four or five cops that beat up a defenceless guy across under the gumtrees some years back, for my benefit... How disgusted I was? And yet now in retrospect, he could have been a wife-beater getting 'sorted' out for a friend or sister...
So you see how easy it is to fly the double-standard banner...*hawks...
Have I told you already about the huge star that rises behind St. Theresa's in the east with astonishing speed, as I sit at the kid's desk and look out at the valley in the early hours?
It seems like months that I've watched it appear and rise to a certain height and then it just sits there without moving...*laughing...
It is so bright as to be disturbing.
We had a row of four or five grey days last week and this morning at last, a clear sky...
In this short space of time the uncannily bright star has all but vanished. There is indeed a fairly bright star, but MUCH further away, and at least a third of its intensity, now hanging up there..
In reality the bright star should of been moving further north east each morning, but it always rose in the same spot... Sillyness? Theres a fine line between dementia and sanity ja...
Are the dips to our electrical system going to culminate in some sort of monstrous explosion? *cackles... Or does it amuse our Master to fiddle with his controls? *curious... It is often stable for hours at a time but last night he excelled himself with the interference...
Again I must assume that this ultimately causes damage to our appliances and will therefore continue to happen....*winks at Bali...
Does the tail on my cursor (which appears now Every time I go to blogger.com) mean that the blog is now read by invite only? *falls over...
I am pleasantly knackered after our walk lasting nearly 2 hours and then doing some digging in the garden a while later...
Its been a grand day..... Peace...
